Support / Joining a Paid Programme

Joining a paid programme

You bought a place on a course, or you are about to. Here is what happens next: the email to look for, your claim code, and how your course appears in the app.

Also available in: français

Buying on the course page

Every course that is sold online has its own public web page, published by the organisation running it. Choosing Buy this programme on that page takes you to a secure checkout run by Stripe, a payment provider used by millions of businesses. You enter your email address and card details there, and Stripe confirms the payment.

As soon as you have paid, you land on a "Payment received" page confirming your place, with the steps to get started. The same steps arrive by email, so there is nothing to memorise.

The email address you enter at checkout matters. It is where your confirmation is sent, and it is how the app can recognise you later. If you already use the app, enter the same email address your app account uses.

The claim email and your code

Shortly after you pay, you receive an email with the subject:

In your inbox "Your claim code for" followed by the name of your course

The email confirms your place and contains your claim code: 10 digits, shown in groups like 123 456 7890. The code is your proof of purchase inside the app. There is no rush to use it, but keep the email safe until your course appears in the app.

If the email has not arrived within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder first. It is sent from the app's own name, for example "Mindful Brian".

When the course appears automatically

If your app account uses the same email address you paid with, and that address is verified, your course usually appears in the app automatically. No code needed: open the app, and the course is there waiting for you.

This also works if you install the app after buying. Create your account with the same email address you used at checkout, verify it when the app asks, and your course appears.

If the course does not appear on its own, nothing is wrong. Your claim code does the same job, as follows.

Entering your claim code

The claim code links your purchase to your app account. Here is how to use it:

  1. Install the app on your phone or tablet, using the links in your claim email.
  2. Open the app and create your account, or sign in if you already have one.
  3. On the course join screen, choose "Bought this course online?".
  4. Choose Enter claim code.
  5. Type the 10-digit code from your email. Spaces do not matter, so you can copy and paste it exactly as it appears.

That is it. The course is now yours in the app, and your code has done its job.

Lost your code?

First, search your inbox and spam folder for "Your claim code for". The email is usually there.

If you genuinely cannot find it, contact us at hello@bewellit.com and include the email address you used at checkout. We will check your purchase and help you get into your course. There is no self-service way to resend the code, so the support route is the one to take.

Refunds

Your purchase is with the organisation running the course, not with BeWell IT. If you want to ask about a refund, contact your teacher or the organisation directly. They decide about refunds and can issue one where appropriate.

You never pay inside the app

Paying for a place on a course happens on the course's own web page, before you join. The app itself never asks you to pay for a course place, and your claim code is never something you buy inside the app.

If anything claiming to be your course asks you for payment inside the app, stop and write to hello@bewellit.com so we can take a look.
